System Features

Wireless Data Transfer Network
Network-based positioning is accomplished by using an existing or planned WLAN or wireless sensor network. Radio coverage is achieved by utilizing WLAN access points and wireless network architecture is reflected in 4TS CIS™. Object location is calculated in real-time and its position is shown on the map.

Tags and Locatable Objects
Tags can be in the form of an ordinary credit card; they can be personalized or remain impersonal. Tags can be attached to various objects, which are thereafter locatable while within the coverage area of the network.

Environment and Security Sensors
Environmental variations (temperature, humidity, airflow, smoke etc), power, physical threats and security can be monitored by utilizing various sensors in the network. Environment sensors can utilize the same WLAN or wireless sensor network for information transfer to the alert management system.

Real-Time Tracking and Alert Management
Tracking frequency can be set to varying intervals e.g. every 10 seconds, 1 minute or 12 hours. 4TS CIS™ provides comprehensive event history reporting. Alert management system provides a graphing utility which can monitor various sensors and display a graphical report. Predefined upper and lower threshold settings ensure normal alert-free operation. If the values exceed normal settings, an alert is generated.

Compatibility with Other 4TS Products

4TSFINDER™ provides for the above-the-ground tracking and status of vehicles, personnel and other assets. The system also enables alert monitoring of GSM and TETRA devices that are fitted with GPS positioning.

4TS dSeal® real-time data loggers are compatible with 4TS CIS™ and provide security, status and communication functions for various logistical quality and security purposes, also underground and inside buildings. By using 4TS dSeal® products companies can make sure that their packages are not opened or handled incorrectly during delivery or storage. .
