Real-time Tracking

Tracking is based on the Global Positioning System (GPS), and communication on the GPRS data service or TETRA SDS short messages. Tracking frequency can be set to different intervals e.g. every 10 seconds, 1 minute or 12 hours. The frequency can also be base on distance travelled e.g. every 300 meters.

Address Data (Geocoding)

Geocoding is used for finding addresses and places, and for defining the nearest vehicle to an address.

Status Information

A driver can easily communicate his status using the device mounted in the vehicle. The number and type of statuses can be chosen by the customer, e.g. busy, available, off duty, loading and unloading.

Driver Identification and Work Time

Driver identification enables work time monitoring, and route and event history reports for each driver. Drivers are identified with a small iButton tag.

Route and Event History Reports

The route and event history data are stored from both the vehicles and the drivers. Vehicle movement, loading and unloading times, and employee work time are all available with the help of the history data.

Time Limit Alerts

The system features an option to define time limits for different statuses and events. This way, fleet managers will automatically be informed if there is a problem in the field.
